Rice with COCOOO, this sweet always reminds me of my grandmother, it is a sweet made of rice and coconut. The dish can transport you to the beach or the mountain, here I leave the recipe.
Ingredients:
2 coconuts
2 cups of rice
3 cups of sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 cinnamon stick
6 flavoring cloves
Cinnamon powder to taste
preparation:
First the pulp of the coconuts is boiled in water for 10 minutes, then it is liquefied and strained to obtain the milk of the coconuts.
Prepare the two cups of rice with five cups of water, cook until it is loose al dente.
Once ready, the rice is mixed with coconut milk, sugar, salt, cinnamon stick and cloves are added.
Stir everything over low heat until the mixture has a pasty consistency.
Let it stand at room temperature for about 10 minutes and then pour it into containers, add the cinnamon powder and refrigerate it at least 20 minutes before serving. You can eat them on a rainy day or on a hot day too. Enjoy, and live the experience of preparing this magnificent dessert.
